How SVGTrim uses cookies

SVGTrim uses a small amount of browser storage for two purposes: to remember your cookie preference and, if you allow it, to measure site usage with Google Analytics. No other storage is used by the site itself.

Why cookie preferences are stored

When you make a choice about analytics cookies — either accepting or declining — SVGTrim stores that preference locally in your browser. This means the consent banner will not appear on every subsequent page load, and your choice is respected without you having to re-confirm it each visit.

Essential storage

Essential storage is used to remember whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies. This prevents the cookie banner from appearing on every page load and helps us respect your choice.

This storage entry does not contain any file content or personal information — only a record of your consent choice.

Analytics cookies

If you accept analytics cookies, SVGTrim may load Google Analytics. Google Analytics helps us understand aggregated usage patterns such as which pages are visited, which tools are used, device and browser categories, approximate region, and referral sources.

Google Analytics is loaded only when you have accepted analytics cookies. If you decline, the analytics script is not loaded and no usage data is collected by that service during your visit.

Analytics cookies are optional. If you decline them, SVGTrim will still work normally.

SVG processing and cookies

SVG file contents are not stored in cookies or browser storage as part of the tool workflows. The browser-based processing used by SVGTrim's tools runs locally in your browser session and does not depend on cookie state. Accepting or declining analytics cookies has no effect on how the tools function.

Third-party services

When Google Analytics is enabled by your consent, data collected through that service is subject to Google's own privacy practices and policies. SVGTrim does not control how Google processes data collected in this way. You can review Google's privacy practices on Google's website.

Advertising cookies

SVGTrim does not currently use advertising cookies or advertising networks.

Change your choice

You can update your analytics cookie preference at any time using the button below. Changes take effect on the current or next page load.

Your preference is stored in your browser and may persist across sessions until you clear your browser's cookies or local storage. Your browser settings can also be used to remove stored preferences directly.
