SVG logo placeholders
Create editable SVG logo placeholders.
Generate generic, editable SVG logo placeholders and wordmarks for mockups, SaaS dashboards, landing pages and client previews. Enter a brand name, pick a mark style, layout, size and colors, then copy or download the SVG. Everything is built in your browser — your brand text is never uploaded and no external fonts, images or APIs are used. These are generic placeholders, not real brand logos.

SVG markup

How It Works
SVG Logo Placeholder Generator builds clean, editable placeholder logos entirely in your browser. Unlike the Edit and Manipulate tools, it does not take an existing SVG as input — it generates brand new SVG markup from the settings you choose. Type a brand name and an optional tagline, pick a mark style (Abstract, Circle Mark, Square Mark, Spark Mark or Monogram), choose a layout (Horizontal, Stacked, Icon Only or Wordmark Only), a size and your primary and text colors, and decide whether to include a light background. Then click Generate Logo Placeholder. The tool derives initials from the brand name where needed, draws the mark with native SVG shapes — circles, rounded squares, a sparkle path and text — and lays out the wordmark using a generic system font stack. The brand text is automatically sized down so it never overflows. The result is a real, dependency-free vector you can copy or download as logo-placeholder.svg and drop into mockups, SaaS dashboards, landing-page client sections and design systems. These are generic placeholders, not real brand logos. SVGTrim creates SVG logo placeholders locally in your browser. Your brand text is not uploaded, and the output remains editable SVG markup.

FAQ
What is an SVG logo placeholder?
An SVG logo placeholder is a generic, editable logo graphic — a mark plus a wordmark — used to fill a logo slot before a real brand logo exists. Because it is SVG, it stays sharp at any size, is small in file size, and you can edit its text, colors and shapes directly in the markup. These are generic placeholders, not real brand logos.
Where are placeholder logos used instead of a real logo?
They are used in website and app mockups, SaaS dashboards, wireframes, landing-page client/partner logo rows, prototypes, pitch decks and design systems — anywhere you need a believable logo shape while the actual brand logo is still being designed or is not available.
Can I choose a wordmark or icon-only layout?
Yes. You can pick Horizontal (mark beside the wordmark), Stacked (mark above the wordmark), Icon Only (just the mark) or Wordmark Only (just the brand text). The optional tagline appears only in the Horizontal and Stacked layouts.
Can I change the colors?
Yes. You control the primary color (used for the mark) and the text color independently with color pickers and hex inputs, and you can optionally include a light background. If you enter an invalid hex value the tool shows a friendly message and does not generate a broken logo.
Is the generated SVG sent to an external service?
No. SVGTrim creates SVG logo placeholders locally in your browser. Your brand text is not uploaded, and the output remains editable SVG markup. There is no API call, no AI involved and no external asset, font or image referenced by the generated logo.
