Last updated: June 2026
Acceptance of terms
By using SVGTrim, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or its tools.
Use of the service
SVGTrim provides free browser-based SVG utilities for personal and commercial workflows, subject to these terms and applicable law.
You agree not to:
- use the tools with files you do not have the right to use;
- use the site for unlawful, abusive, harmful, or misleading purposes;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or bypass protections on the site;
- upload, create, or process malicious SVG content for the purpose of attacking users, browsers, systems, or services;
- use automated traffic in a way that degrades the service for other users.
Fair use
SVGTrim is intended for normal interactive use by developers, designers, and other users. Excessive automated usage, bulk extraction, or activity that places an unreasonable load on the service may be restricted to protect site availability for others.
SVG files and outputs
SVG files can contain complex markup, references, scripts, filters, animations, metadata, and other browser-interpreted content. You are responsible for the SVG files you process and for verifying any output before using it in production, design systems, websites, applications, or customer projects.
SVGTrim is designed to process files locally in your browser, but we cannot guarantee that every optimization, conversion, or edit will preserve every visual, accessibility, metadata, animation, or compatibility detail of every SVG file.
Feedback submissions
You may use the feedback form to send bug reports, suggestions, or general comments. Please do not submit private SVG content, passwords, credentials, confidential business information, or other sensitive data through feedback forms.
By sending feedback, you allow SVGTrim to store and review your message and to use non-confidential suggestions to improve the site and its tools.
Intellectual property
Your SVG files remain yours. SVGTrim does not claim ownership of files you process through the tools.
The SVGTrim name, website design, interface, source code, and content are owned by SVGTrim or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, redistribute, or offer the service itself as your own without permission.
No professional advice
SVGTrim is a technical utility site. Any explanations, examples, or guidance on the site are provided for general information only and should not be treated as legal, security, accessibility, or professional advice.
No warranty
SVGTrim is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, specific compression results, compatibility with every file, or suitability for any particular purpose.
Always keep backups of original files before processing them with any online or browser-based tool.
Third-party technologies
SVGTrim may rely on browsers, operating systems, third-party libraries, and external services to provide certain functionality. Changes in those technologies may affect how specific tools behave or the results they produce.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SVGTrim shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business damages arising from your use of or inability to use the site, including loss of data, broken assets, deployment issues, or production incidents.
Changes and availability
We may change, suspend, remove, or discontinue any tool or feature at any time. We may also update these terms from time to time. Continued use of SVGTrim after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes related to the service will be handled by the courts of Istanbul, unless consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
